The Presidential Decree (PD №. 190 of 16.08.2022) "On measures to further simplify the regime of entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan for citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" was adopted

According to the Decree, from January 1, 2023, a visa-free regime will be introduced for citizens of Saudi Arabia for a period of 30 days from the date of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, they must provide an air ticket for departure to their own or a third country.

When is a criminal record considered extinguished?

The criminal record is extinguished by:

the expiration of the probation period in relation to probation prisoners;

serving a sentence in the form of mandatory community service, restrictions on service or referral to a disciplinary unit;

expiration of 1 year after the execution of the fine, as well as after serving the sentence in the form of deprivation of a certain right or correctional labor;

after 2 years after serving a sentence of restriction of freedom;

the expiration of 4 years after serving a sentence of imprisonment for a period not exceeding 5 years;

after 7 years after serving a sentence of imprisonment for a period of more than 5, but not more than 10 years;

the expiration of 10 years after serving a sentence of imprisonment for a period of more than 10, but not more than 15 years.

According to the Labor Code, illegal refusal to hire persons previously convicted is not allowed, except in cases provided for by law, or in connection with the criminal record of their close relatives.

The law (LRU No. 789 of 15.08.2022) on the establishment of the Order "Imom Buxoriy" was signed by the President

In accordance with the law, the order "Imom Buxoriy" consists of two degrees:

The Order of "Oliy Darajali Imom Buxoriy";
Order "Imom Buxoriy".

The Order "Oliy Darajali Imom Buxoriy" is awarded for the high results achieved in the study and wide promotion in the international arena of the life and scientific heritage of great scientists and thinkers who have made a huge contribution to the development of science and culture, including Islamic enlightenment:

Heads of foreign states and governments;
representatives of parliaments of foreign countries;
heads and representatives of international organizations, diplomatic representations, consular offices and other organizations equivalent to them, as well as foreign figures and scientists;
famous statesmen and public figures, leaders and leading ulema in the religious and public sphere, outstanding scientists, writers, teachers and scientific researchers of our country.

The Order "Imom Buxoriy" is awarded for merits in the research and promotion of the scientific and religious heritage of our great thinkers, bringing to the population, especially the youth of the country, universal values and the true essence of the religion of Islam:

workers of science, education and upbringing, culture, art and literature;
employees of state and public organizations;
religious figures;
scientists and researchers.

Persons awarded with the Order of "Oliy Darajali Imom Buxoriy" are paid a one-time monetary reward in the amount of 70 BCA (21 million soums), and persons awarded with the Order of "Imom Buxoriy" are paid a one-time monetary reward in the amount of 50 BCA (15 million soums).
