The procedure for providing housing for women in need of it has been determined

The Government resolution approved the Regulation on the procedure for providing housing for women in need of housing, living in non-residential premises, as well as those who have lost their parents or one of them, as well as adult women in the care of a single mother, single father or other persons.

In accordance with the Regulations, women in need of housing, wishing to improve their living conditions, apply with a request-statement to the local government body or the district (city) department for support of the mahalla and family.

The Commission for the Promotion of Housing for Women in Need of Housing, quarterly (by the 15th day of the first month of the quarter) monitors the level of women's housing needs.

Women in need of housing, after the relevant decision of the commission, for a period of not more than 30 days, will be temporarily housed on a lease basis in social living quarters.

Wherein:

women in need of housing are paid an initial mortgage loan of 15 percent of the estimated cost of housing;

the khokimiyat of the district (city), within 20 days after the decision of the commission, concludes a lease agreement with women to be accommodated in social housing (for a period not exceeding 5 years);
within 5 days after the conclusion of the lease agreement, an act of acceptance and transfer of social housing is drawn up;
after drawing up the act, women in need of housing will be placed in social housing within 5 days.

Social housing on the right of municipal ownership belongs to the khokimiyat of the district (city) and separate records are kept for them.

Persons with disabilities, the elderly and persons who cannot move independently are placed on a priority basis in social living quarters on the ground floors of apartment buildings.

The rent for the use of social housing is calculated based on the total area of housing per 1 square meter:

● In Tashkent 2 percent of BCA for a period of 1 year;
● In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions - in the amount of 1 percent of BCA (base calculation amount).

Once a month, compliance with the requirements established in the lease agreement is monitored.

In accordance with the resolution adopted at the 53rd session of the UN General Assembly in 2003, this day was declared the International Anti-Corruption Day.

The International Organization for Standardization implemented ISO 37001: 2016 anti-bribery management systems in 2016.

For note, on September 7, 2020, the Ministry of Justice was the first among the state bodies of Uzbekistan to evaluate all areas of its activities in accordance with the international standard ISO 37001: 2016 "Anti-bribery management systems", included them in the international register and received the corresponding certificate.

December 3 - International Day of Persons with Disabilities

1983-1992 was designated by the UN as the International Decade of Disabled Persons in order to draw the world's attention to the problem of improving the living standards of people with disabilities. At the end of this decade (October 14, 1992), in accordance with the resolution adopted at the 37th plenary session of the UN General Assembly, December 3 was declared the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

In accordance with this international document, all UN member states, as well as relevant organizations are recommended to regularly create the necessary conditions for a full life, work, education and health restoration of persons with disabilities, furthermore, to widely celebrate this day.

Drivers can use the phone through headphones

The President signed the Law "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Liability in Connection with the Liberalization of Administrative Penalties for Committing Certain Offenses in the Transport and Financial Spheres".

According to the amendments, drivers can use the phone while driving, using a headphones and devices that allow them to talk hands-free.

If drivers exceed the speed limit, a fine is applied minus 5 km per hour from the speed limit.

The driver is not required to have registration documents, power of attorney, insurance with him, if he has a passport or identity card (this procedure will come into force on March 1, 2022).

Responsibility for the installation of a monitor (display) in the front of the car interior has also been canceled.

The amount of the fine for illegal receipt of currency was set in the range from 10 to 20 BCA (previously the fixed amount was 20 BCA).

A fine for citizens for transporting passengers by car without a license is set at 30 BCA (previously it ranged from 20 to 100 BCA - base calculation amount).

Prevention inspectors in the field of jurisprudence can be admitted to study at a state university without passing exams

The Resolution of the President "On additional measures to improve the legal knowledge of inspectors for the prevention of internal affairs bodies" was adopted.

According to the Resolution, from 2022/2023 academic year, selfless, proactive prevention inspectors (senior) with more than 3 years of work experience in the internal affairs bodies will be accepted to the following universities for correspondence studies without entrance exams:

University of Public Safety;
Tashkent State University of Law;
other state university (with the exception of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Customs Institute of the State Customs Committee), which have bachelor's degree in jurisprudence.

A commission will be established to issue letters of recommendation to universities for senior prevention inspectors, who will take test exams in order to acquire a letter of recommendation.

Recommendations are distributed equally among universities.

Admission to study is carried out on a paid-contract basis with payment from the republican budget.

Prevention inspectors (senior) with recommendations are accepted for correspondence studies at a university out of the admission parameters.

According to the Resolution, 100 prevention inspectors (senior) will be given recommendations by May 1, 2022.

Graduates studying at the university by correspondence, on the basis of a recommendation, are obliged to serve in the internal affairs bodies for at least 5 years.

According to the legislation:

Mobile trading activity is carried out by entrepreneurs by registering mobile retail facilities in the electronic automated information system "K - Savdo". Concurrently, the registration fee is not charged;

Mobile trading place (except for places owned by private owners) is sold at an electronic auction through AIS "K - Savdo" according to the schemes of placement of mobile trading objects.
