In 2022, Bukhara will host the International Festival of Gold and Jewelry

Presidential Decree “On holding the International Gold and Jewelry Festival” was adopted.

According to the decree, starting from 2022, every two years in May, Bukhara will host the International Festival of Gold and Jewelry.

The festival will be held on May 21-25, 2022 and will include a scientific-practical conference on "Prospects for the development of traditional gold and jewelry."

Tashkent will also host the annual international exhibition and sale of modern equipment, technologies and products of the Uzbek Jewelry Fair with the participation of representatives of the jewelry industry, foreign investors, experts and specialists.

The Presidential Decree "On measures to further develop the engineering and communication infrastructure of special economic and small industrial zones" was adopted.

The following was approved by the decree:

Special economic and small industrial zones, projects to promote socio-economic development of the regions in 2021-2022 and parameters of measures to provide large production projects with foreign and domestic direct investment with external engineering and communication networks;

Address lists of measures to be taken in 2021 to provide special economic and small industrial zones with external engineering and communication networks.

In addition, a department for financing the infrastructure of special economic and small industrial zones and large foreign and domestic investment projects has been established in the central office of the Ministry of Finance.

Eurasia International Theater Festival will be held in Tashkent

Government Resolution approved the Regulation on the procedure for holding the Eurasia International Theater Festival.

According to the regulation, the festival will be held every two years from 2022 in the last ten days of October in Tashkent with the participation of theater groups from Uzbekistan and abroad.

This festival is held over the years in a specific genre and direction of theatrical art in the following sequence:

Dramatic Theater Festival (for the first time);
Festival of Musical Theaters (second time);
Puppet Theater Festival (third time);
Youth Audience Theater Festival (fourth time).

Participants wishing to participate in the festival can apply through the special e-mail address of the festival until February 1 of the festival year.

TASHKENT STATE UNIVERSITY OF LAW WAS ENLISTED AMONG TOP 500 UNIVERSITIES IN “TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION IMPACT RANKINGS”

Times Higher Education (THE), Britain based organization, which covers important issues in the field of higher education and evaluates the activities of universities, announced the results of the rating for 2021 of “THE Impact Rankings”.

According to this ranking, Tashkent State University of Law took 401st place among thousands of participating universities from 94 regions and the highest result among higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan.

University took part in seven impact rankings and achieved following results:
● SDG 4: Quality Education – 201;
● SDG 5: Gender Equality – 401;
● SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – 201;
● SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure – 401;
● SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities – 401;
