"Mehribonlik" houses are attached to the National Guard
The Presidential Resolution
"On measures to introduce a radically updated system of upbringing of orphans and children left without parental care" was adopted.
According to the resolution, "Mehribonlik" houses, children's townships, family-type children’s homes and children's homes (educational institutions) of the Ministry of Health system were added to the jurisdiction of the National Guard.
The position of the Deputy Commander of the National Guard, responsible for the effective organization of the process of training, education, and leisure of young people in educational institutions, has been introduced as part of the National Guard.
According to the resolution, military personnel and employees of the National Guard are assigned to family-type children’s homes and children's homes, as well as orphans (under the age of twenty-five) taken under guardianship, and into a family for upbringing (patronage).
Attached servicemen and employees study the state of education and living conditions of orphans and children left without parental care.
A rating system of educational institutions will be introduced by evaluating the results achieved by the students of educational institutions.
By January 1, 2022, the University of Public Security will organize retraining and advanced training of teachers of educational institutions.
From November 1, 2021, funds will be established to support orphans and children left without parental care, included in the “Mehr daftari”.
The social status of girls brought up in educational institutions, taken under guardianship, and foster care (patronage), is studied at least twice a year.
Girls brought up in educational institutions, taken under guardianship, guardianship and and foster care (patronage), will be included in the "Mehr daftari", they will be provided with comprehensive assistance in solving problems of concern and finding their place in life after graduating from educational institutions.
Moreover, every year 25 teachers of educational institutions will receive free treatment in sanatoriums of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
