A significant increase in human tendency to wear fashionable clothes has occured recently which needs to come to the fore. This development has various advantages while I do believe it to be detrimental for several reasons.
The fact that people are becoming more prone to purchase modern clothes has a beneficial impact on both economy and psychologic sides. If there is a demand, there will be a supply. With this said new textile companies are emerging or expanding their workplace which allows themselves to recruit jobless people. This in fact will serve as a reason for acceleration of the country's microeconomy. Furthermore, wearing clothes which are on trend is widely being accepted among youngsters as an integral part of their daily life. As a result, people may feel much more confident leading to the boost of psychology. Eventually, individuals can be more efficient at their work.
In a striking contrast, it would be a sobering thought to mention that it does have a detrimental influence on the environment and culture. The more people are eager to dress up modern clothes, the more demand for textile manufacture will appear. If there is an excessive amount of textile factories it may have detrimental effect on the local environment causing air pollution as the factories often release carbon emission during working time. Regarding to the traditional customs, it can be also a supplementary drawback. Clothing is vitally important for cultural development expressing its uniqueness. The major part of fashionable clothes belongs to the western culture which eventually can harm the local one. The cultural diversity can gradually be abolished stemming from this phenomenon.
In conclusion, the trend of wearing modern clothes can probably be beneficial in terms of job position and individuals' psychology. Yet, this has disadvantages due to the environmental and cultural sides.
