Given diagram gives information regarding life cycle of glass and plastic, with recycling.

Overall, it is clear that there are 7 stages of the circle of both plastic and glass products with the division into 3 main categories namely, collection, preparation and production steps.

Both glass and plastic products are collected in a special bins during 3-8 weeks after producing for utilization. In the following stage of the collection step used wares are delivered to the recycling center with the help of special transport within 5-10 days. There the wares are separated into glass and plastic and even further the plastic wares are separated by thickness and quality while glass wares are divided according to their color.

In the preparation step glass wares are crushed and washed before melting and reshaping in separate machines while plastic ones are bundled, shredded and washed prior to melting and reshaping in one special machine. In the last production step ready-made products can be distributed and the circle keeps going on.
