Given pie charts give information about consumption of water for three diverse purposes in San Diego County, California and the rest of the world specifically for the year 1999.

Overall, it is clear that the significant proportion of the water use came down to residential purposes while agriculture secured the last position in two given towns. In 1999, the usage of water for agriculture was by far the most considerable around the world.

The share for San Diego County's water consumption for residential purposes was more dominant when juxtaposed to California's index (relatively 60 percent and 39 percent). Meanwhile, the percentile of water used for industry by California was higher by 10 percent in comparison with that of San Diego County. There were 11 percent gap between the indices for water utilization on agriculture of San Diego County and California when the latter was more superior (28 percent).

The share for water use around the world for agriculture was much considerable to that of residential and industrial purposes (69 percent). The index of the usage of water for industry was almost three times as high as that of residential.
