2023-01-07 09:08:14 Environmental problems have become high on most countries agenda. A rise in fuel price has been suggested to be the most effective way to tackle the environmental issues. Despite this it is disagreed that increasing the cost of fuel is the best way to solve the world's environmental problems because of several reasons which will be articulated in the forthcoming paragraphs

To commence with, since environmental problems are the harsh issues of today's world, it is emphasized that the problems should be tackled. Thus, it has been suggested that if the price of fuel increases significantly, the environmental problems which are occuring in the world will be solved. By contrast, if a rise in fuel price is suggested to tackle the environmental issues, the demand for fuel products ( petrol, gas and others) will not decrease and most individuals who use from fuel products will buy them. Because they cannot imagine their life without cars, trains, planes or public transports and buying fuel continues. To epitome, according to statistics, Chinese government increased significantly by 15% the price of fuel in 2018. But, purchasing fuel products decreased negligibly to 0.8% in China, since the demand for fuel was the highest and the problems were not solved. Increasing the cost of fuel is not the best way to tackle the environmental problems, as there is a high demand in fuel.

Most policymakers and economists ought to consider other solutions, albeit it is said that rising the price of fuel is the most effective way to tackle environmental problems. For example, biofuel should be used in most countries and the authorities should invest more and more money to produce biofuel. It is known that not only biofuel is not dangerous but also it is cheaper than other types of fuel resources. Taking a precise example, biofuel is utilized in Japan and the UAE and there are not environmental problems in both of countries, since biofuel does not spread toxic gases to the air and they are produced with plants and just over 60% cars and public transports use from biofuel in both of countries. On the whole, using from biofuel is more effective way to tackle environmental problems than rising the price of fuel.

By way of conclusion, the environmental problems are the harsh issues of today's world and rising the price of fuel is not the most effective way to tackle them because there is a high demand in fuel and I firmly advocate that all countries should use other types of fuels especially biofuel. I hope that the environmental problems will be tackled in the future because of using from biofuel.

Given is the line graph comparing the expenditure spent by visitors per annum to New Zealand from five countries in range of 1996 and 2014.

Overall, what stands out from the line graph is that The annual expenditure which was spent by Australian tourists was higher than other four countries from 1996 to 2014. In the USA and UK, there was an upward trend from 2002 to 2013 prior decreasing in 2014. By contrast, the expenditure spent by Chinese and Japanese tourists per year was less than other countries

In Australia, the annual expenditure which was spent by Australian tourists amounted 1000 NZ$ in 1996. Having increased drastically to approximately 2500 by 2006, the figure had then showed a noticeable decrease to 2000 by 2008.
Despite increasing markedly to around 2400 in 2010, the figure had then seen a steady decline to 2000 by the final year. The annual spend which was expended by the USA' s tourists consisted of roughly 800 NZ$ in 1996. Having ascended gradually to about 1600NZ$ by 2010, the line graph had then illustrated a steady decline to 1000 by the final year. Declining gradually from 500NZ$ in 1996 to around 200NZ$ in 2002, the UK's figure had then seen an abrupt rise to about 700 NZ$ by 2008. There was marginal fluctuations from 2008 to 2012 prior decreasing markedly to about 600 NZ$ in 2014.

The annual expenditure which was spent by Japanese tourists amounted 500 NZ$ in 1996 and it was the identical with the UK. Having increased considerably to 1000NZ$ by 2002, the figure had then showed a gradual decline to 500 by the final year. In spite of increasing steadily from approximately 10 NZ$ in 1996 to 500 NZ$ in 2004, the figure had then revealed a moderate decrease to about 250 NZ$ by the final year surveyed.

2023-01-06 21:53:04 Economic prosperity is a prime concern on most countries' agenda. Thus, some argue that extending work hours can help a nation reach economic success rather than shorter ones. Despite this I tend to disagree with this point of view because of several reasons that will be articulated in the forthcoming paragraphs.

To commence with, achieving economic prosperity is the primary goal for most countries and in pursuit of this aim it is said that working a long time gives rise to economically successful. According to economic perspectives, if most individuals work a long time, it will lead to higher output and as a result, the volume of production will increase significantly because of extending work hours. Regarding statistic information, China is known to have record -high work hours and therefore China's economic success is attributed to this fact.
According to statistic information of Economist Intelligence Unit and Societe Generale, the volume of production manufacturing in China increases significantly to 10 % per annum. Examples like this clearly show that most countries can achieve their own economic success due to extending work hours.

On the flip side, although countries with a long average working time are more economically successful than those countries which do not have a long working time, I disagree with this point of view since it can be detrimental to national economy. People who work a long time can be inattentive and it invariably affects to their performance at work. Consequently, people who labour a long time are poor efficiency in their workplaces. In some situation, suicide rate increases alarmingly among people who work a long time. Evidence of this can be seen in any example. The percentage of suicide rises significantly among people who reside in Japan. According to their economic perspectives, every human must work forever in workplace and they work a long time in their workplaces. It impacts on their health especially nerve system and as result, just over 20% of workers commit suicide per year. Admittedly, instances like this impact on detrimental to national economy.

By way of conclusion, though making people stay long hours in the workplace can sometimes help improve the wealth of a country, it counterproductive seeing as it gives rise to poor productivity and social problems like suicide.
