New vehicles are not subject to technical inspection when registering with the State Road Traffic Safety Service

Vehicles must undergo technical inspection in accordance with the following frequency:

cars, buses, trolleybuses, trams carrying passengers on a commercial basis, and trucks with 8 or more seats (except for the driver's seat), equipped for regular transportation of people, special vehicles and trailers for transportation of oversized, heavy and dangerous cargo - twice a year;

vehicles with a service life of no more than 6 years - once every two years;

vehicles with a service life of more than 6 years, as well as with an indefinite production time - once a year;

trailers are subject to technical inspection within the time frame established for the driver's vehicle;

upon their registration (re-registration) with the State Road Traffic Safety Service, - regardless of the previously established terms for the next technical inspection.

New vehicles - are not subject to technical inspection when registering with the State Road Traffic Safety Service.
