Comprehensive measures will be taken to prepare our athletes for the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris

The Resolution of the President "On the comprehensive training of athletes of Uzbekistan for the XXXIII Summer Olympic and XVII Paralympic Games held in Paris (France) in 2024" was adopted.

The resolution approved the program and target indicators for the training of athletes of Uzbekistan for the XXXIII Summer Olympic and XVII Paralympic Games in Paris (France) in 2024.

Target indicators are:

participation in 244 programs of the Olympic Games and obtaining 103 licenses in 26 sports, including obtaining licenses and participating in 31 programs in 8 promising Olympic sports (badminton, table tennis, rock climbing, water polo, synchronized swimming, diving, equestrian sports , triathlon);

Participated in 476 Paralympic Games programs and received a total of 105 licenses in 12 sports, including bocce, para-table tennis, para-archery, para-cycling.

Starting from the 2022/2023 academic year, quotas for the admission of women to sports and educational institutions specializing in the training of Olympic Reserve athletes will be increased.
