The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On approval of the regulations on the procedure for the state protection of natural territories of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted

The State Cadastre of protected natural areas is directed by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Ecology and Environmental Protection in association with the Academy of Sciences and is a set of unified data on environmental objects classified as protected natural areas, is an integral part of the Unified System of State Cadastres of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For reference, the objects of accounting of the state cadastre of protected natural areas are the next: state reserves, integrated (landscape) nature reserves, nature parks, state nature monuments, nature reserves, and nurseries, resort natural areas, recreation areas, water protection zones and coastal stripes, surface, and groundwater formation zones (river valleys, discharge cones, foothill loops) fishery zones, territories for the management of individual natural resources, state biosphere reserves and other natural territories referred to =legislation and international treaty to classifications protected.
