You must fill out a universal CSS form to notify universities of their intentions to receive need-based assistance - most universities accept this. Create a page in your CSS profile and enter the financial status of the family. To complete all the points, you need to get a bank statement from the account and a certificate from the parents ’work, which shows the salary for the last two years. You should also include information about the price of the apartment, the availability of large investments, annual expenses for utilities, entertainment, food, clothing.

It is not necessary to enter all the data at once. By creating an account, you can log in at any time and all added information will be saved.

Some universities may require other documents to confirm the family’s financial status. Such requirements can be found on the university website.
