What I did to get that 9 on listening:


I have always worked on my general English, revising grammar books and enriching my vocabulary

I did familiarize myself with question types and test format

I tried to expose myself to the English language


I didn't use to listen to podcasts that much, particularly for the sake of improving my listening

I listened to podcasts here and there as they were of my interest and informative

I read books, it was helpful not to make spelling mistakes. Plus reading books makes you concentrated and focused.

I did practice tests from Cambridge 7 till 17. Additionally IELTS trainer 2 every other day.

Finally, I analyzed my mistakes and listened to the audio one more time so that I could know why did I miss the word or what was my mistake.
