Mark Zelman, an international level expert in educational quality assessment and testology, candidate of Mathematical Sciences,
is no longer among us.
Mr. Zelman has worked in prestigious organizations such as the American Council, the University of Manchester, Educational Testing Service (ETS, USA) and in projects such as Graduate Record Examination, Graduate Management Admission test, National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), SAT I, GRE, PRAXIS, PAEG.
He has significant international experience in the implementation of projects in the field of assessing the quality of Education, funded by the organizations of the World Bank, USAID, the British Council, IADB. Mark Zelman has contributed to the development of National Testing and evaluation systems in countries such as Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Thailand, Bolivia, Ethiopia, Kosovo, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Mark Zelman has been conducting research on the development of the national test and assessment system in Uzbekistan for many years in close cooperation with the Inspectorate of education, the Ministry of public education.
In recent years, he has been working as an international consultant to introduce a "large-scale national assessment system"within the framework of the World Bank project in cooperation with the National Center for the implementation of international studies under the educational Inspectorate.

deep condolences to members and loved ones of his family in connection with the death of Mark Zelman.
