In the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2020, as part of a wide range of work to increase the socio-political and public activity of women and girls, create conditions for them to realize their abilities and capabilities in various spheres and industries, ensure unconditional respect for their rights and legitimate interests, comprehensive support more than 80 normative legal documents were adopted, including 15 Decrees and Resolutions of the President and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, the law is also being improved in this way, so the number of subjects of protection of women and their interests has increased.

In particular, under the Decrees and Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the following institutions were formed:
Scientific and Practical Research Center "Oila" and its regional divisions under the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
The Ministry of Makhalla and Family Support and its branches within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
State Trust Fund for the Support of Women and the Family;
Commission on Gender Equality of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Additionally, public councils of women were formed in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and cities of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
