Special attention is paid to the issues of organization and development of small industrial zones, which are one of the main drivers in the development of the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to this, in Tashkent region today there are 47 small industrial zones in 212.0 hectares (180.0 hectares of useful land) of 19 districts (cities) in the land area.

On the basis of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 21, 2021 № PP-5155 “on measures aimed at the development of furniture industry in the regions of the Republic”on 25 hectares of land in the territory of Tashkent region, the District of Urtachirchik, the village of Saidovul organized a "small industrial zone specializing in the production
- A small industrial zone specializing in the production of furniture products established in the Tashkent region occupies an important place in the furniture industry and produces products of Carpenters, furniture manufacturers, lacquers and veneers working in this area.
In 2022, in the remote regions of the region, stage-by-stage SIZs will be organized. In particular, the total cost of the account for the establishment of 6 small industrial zones on the banks of 53 hectares of land in the region amounted to 657.6 billion. it is planned to deploy 54 investment projects worth Sum and create 3458 new jobs. As a result of the implementation of the projects, new jobs will be created in the neighborhoods for the citizens of “Iron book”, “Youth book” and “Women's book”.
