EFFECTIVE RESULTS!
Aralkum deserts with an area of 5.5 million hectares were formed in the dry bottom of the Aral Sea. Approximately 100 million tons of salt, dust and sand are rising into the air from this area, causing great damage to the environment.
In order to mitigate the consequences of the drying up of the Aral Sea, more than 1.5 million hectares of forest crops were planted on the basis of the State Program for the Development of the Aral Bay Region.
The planting of saksovol, cherkes and other salt-tolerant plants created new forest ecosystems, where rabbits, foxes, pheasants, wild boars and more appeared.
