The Ofqual Regulated Level 6 Diploma in TESOL is regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulatory (Ofqual), which means that the
UK government has
approved the diplomas and the certificates.
(Mostly for university ,college ,lyceum teachers)By the end of the course teachers will :
● understand how language is acquired
● understand what constitutes errors in a language
● know the principles on which modern language teaching is based
● understand what phonetic and phonology are
● be aware of the aids and techniques for developing language skills
● be aware of methodologies that can be used to teach English
● be aware of how to use materials and aids to teach English in the class
● know how to organise the class
● understand the different roles of the teacher and have a basis for self-evaluation
● know how to design lesson plans
