Xiaomi has officially confirmed today that the Redmi K60 series will debut on Dec. 27. It also revealed that the Redmi K60 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. In addition, the company also confirmed that there will be no “e-sports edition” in the K60 family. In other words, the company will not be launching the rumored gaming-focused Redmi K60 Gaming in 2023.
Xiaomi said that the K60 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 onboard will not only come equipped with a flagship configuration but also with e-sports performance. The company added that it will offer ruthless performance and will be stacked against other flagship phones launching in 2023.
Xiaomi says that the Redmi K60 Pro’s image quality and frame quality will be better than those of gaming phones because it has a self-developed tuning engine. It will also offer a richer flagship performance. The company confirmed that the K60 Pro scored 1,350,526 points on AnTuTu benchmarks.
