2023-01-04 18:15:48 The Cunning Achievers/City Dwellers (Slytherin)

Harvard (3%), Columbia (4%), UPenn (6%), Georgetown (12%), NYU (13%), BU (18%), BC (19%)

These schools are flooded with future finance bros and politicians, and are among the most career-oriented institutions. You will find that many students have a high drive and can network as much as they hang out with their friends, oftentimes using one as a substitute for the other. The surrounding cities at these schools enable students to engage in multicultural and dynamic environments, while also honing their ability to succeed in hectic, fast-paced settings. After four years of bustling about in the city with these go-getters, the world is truly your oyster.

The Social Achievers/Sports Fanatics (Gryffindor)

Stanford (4%), Duke (6%), Northwestern (7%), Vanderbilt (7%), USC (12%), Notre Dame (15%)

If you like warm weather, gregarious peers, and dreamy surroundings, these are the schools for you. Most of them have iconic sports teams that yield some of the most rah-rah environments amongst elite schools, creating a culture of high school spirit and morale. Don't be fooled by this inclination for fun and being the life of the party though - these institutions are the stomping grounds for many high caliber students who work hard on their way to becoming world leaders, entrepreneurs, and influential thinkers. Even on big gamedays, you'll find students in research labs, coding, and attending talks by industry pioneers.

The Bookworm Achievers/STEM Lovers (Ravenclaw)

MIT (4%), Princeton (4%), CalTech (6%), UChicago (6%), JHU (7%), Cornell (9%), WashU (13%), Harvey Mudd (14%), Olin College of Engineering (15%), CMU (15%)

These are the academic powerhouses where "life of the mind" is taken seriously. If you like grinding your bones dry in the library on a weekend more than going out, these are the schools for you. The majority of these schools are STEM-dominant, so having a passion for quantitative learning and reasoning is a must. While your four years may be highly stressful and slightly traumatizing, if you survive it will make everything to come that much easier, and is a true testament to your work ethic, willingness to embrace challenges, and intellectual vitality/aptitude.

The Unassuming Achievers/Artistic Souls (Hufflepuff)

Yale (5%), Brown (5%), Dartmouth (6%), Pomona (7%), Swarthmore (8%), Williams (8%), Amherst (8%), Bowdoin (9%), Claremont McKenna (9%), Rice (9%), Tufts (11%)

These are the schools with heavy undergrad focus, tight interactions with faculty and peers, and predominantly small-town settings. If you're looking for homey environments with a slower pace, these are some of the best choices. The majority of these schools excel in the arts and humanities as well, allowing for interesting intersections between STEM and the arts to be discovered. For the elite liberal arts colleges, they are notable for attracting many students who desire a supportive learning environment without needing the recognition that comes with big name schools like Harvard and Duke - instead, these students give their all to obtaining knowledge and fostering intellectual exploration.

P.S. Interestingly, I have all types of Hogwarts houses except Ravenclaw. None Ravenclaw.

1148 people from Reddit voted on how difficult each section of the December 2022 SAT was for them.

1 - very easy
5 - very hard

According to these results I expect the reading curve to be good (i.e -12 330). However, I do not agree on the difficulty of writing part, it seemed to be way too easy and I expect a harsh curve on that (smth like 380 for -1). The curve for math would probably be like most other tests' curves: -1 790, -2 780, -3 770/760 etc.

But it is also important to note that the statistics may be flawed as people with different knowledge and experiences voted.

You can also report each section difficulty for December SAT here.

2022-12-07 12:05:00 MY DET EXPERIENCE

This post is dedicated to my Duolingo English Test experience. Also, you can find quick tips from me.

To start with, the test itself was convenient and precise. I felt fulfilled after taking this test since it tests your real knowledge of English and its usage. So don't be concerned about the content of the test because true professionals are in charge of it.

As for the prep time, it took me 5 to 7 days to feel confident and ready for the test. To be honest, it depends on your academic background and level of English proficiency. If you have a solid foundation in the English language, you may spend your time learning the structure and the question types. I don't recommend over-practicing, as it kills your creativity and mind.

Overall, do not stress out too much. It's not a big deal; there may be times when you fail the test. Still, do not lose hope. Keep working and get things done.

Follow to see the cancellation reasons and tips on the Test.

This is Ashraf Hakimi. He is a footballer. He is from Morocco . Yesterday, they beat one of the World’s strongest teams, Belgium , he made his mother proud in front of many people from different nations. World has seen what they did. There is nothing happiest than a mother seeing success of his child. Despite being one of the most successful footballer, he is still staying humble and showing respect to his mother in front of the world.
Not only they made their parents proud but whole Muslims as well.

What about you, what are you doing to make you parents to be proud of you? Or at least, what are you helping your mother at home? Are you showing your thankfulness for her food? Do you keep saying that you love her? Or waiting for what?

You don’t have to be like Ashraf Hakimi(this just an example), at least you can say that you love her, at least by being kind to her.

2022-11-25 22:34:13 I have run for 20 days, and here is my story. Running with my friends proved ineffective in earlier years; we just hung out and only ran for three days. So I decided to run in the morning for 20 days and see what would happen. Of course, as a beginner…
