IELTS is a language test, and to get a high score you need to have a good command of language. To achieve it, there is no better way than getting yourself exposed to natural English. One of the most effective ways to do this is listening to podcasts and reading articles regularly. Yes, it might be boring and challenging, but sooner or later it pays off. Don't expect immediate results, keep working and be consistent and persistent.
