قَالَ: وسمعت نصر بْن الفرج البزار يقول: دخلت عَلَى أبي عبد الله ابن بطة وهو صائم فِي يوم شديد الحر

And I saw him placing his chest upon washed plates in order to cool down by that.”
فرأيته وقد وضع صدره عَلَى طوابق مغسولة يتبرد بذلك.

2023-06-02 21:07:54 The ruling on performing Hajj by taking a LoanQuestion:

I want to perform Hajj to the sacred House of Allah, but I do not have what will suffice me for that. The place where I work agreed to give me a loan to cover the expenses of the Hajj, which is to be repaid by deductions from my salary afterwards. Is this acceptable?Answer:

It is acceptable that you do this. If you performed Hajj with money that you borrowed, indeed it is accepted. However, it is better and more appropriate that you do not do this, because Allah has only made Hajj obligatory on whoever is able to find a way there, and right now you are not able to find a way. You should not take out a loan. For you do not know maybe you will take a loan, and the debt will remain under your responsibility, and then you will able to repay it afterwards. You may become ill or you may not be able to get a job in the field that you work in or you may die. Therefore, you should not take a loan. Whenever Allah enriches you and you are able to get some wealth that you can perform Hajj with, then do so. If not, then do not take a loan.

* It is forbidden to fast on the day Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adhaa, and on the three days of Tashreeq following the day of Adhaa, or days when there is doubt as to the date (e.g., when there is confusion as the beginning of Ramadaan).

* It is forbidden to single out a Friday or a Saturday for fasting.

* To fast all the time.

* To start fasting one or two days before the start of Ramadaan.

* To fast in the second half of Sha'baan, unless one has the habit of fasting regularly.

* It is forbidden to fast for two days continuously without breaking one's fast at night.

* To fast on the Day of 'Arafaah in 'Arafaah, unless one does not have an animal to sacrifice.
* To rinse one's mouth or nose excessively whilst fasting.

* For a woman to observe a naafil fast when her husband is present, except with his permission.

* To forsake suhoor - one should eat or drink something, if only a sip of water.

* To engage in obscenity, vehement arguments or fights when fasting.
