Asking questions is overrated and unnecessary.
This nonsense starts in school. Students are applauded for asking questions. And those who do not are labeled as lazy, dumb, uninterested and so on..
This carries into later life. People feel validated when they ask questions. I see it in a lot of seminars. Some questions people ask are just not worththe effort answering. They are "googleable". People who are putting in the hardwork do not ask general questions like: "what can you tell me to improve my IELTS"!
- Good questions are more like: "i am having some problems in part 3 of listening as there are 2 or 3 people speaking. How can I avoid confusion?". This is what you can't find on google and need real-life assistance to help you.
But c'mon. Just asking questions and collecting tips and doing absolutely nothing will get you NOWHERE
