Why do children like hearing the same bedtime stories?
As far as I know there can be various reasons why kids ask to tell one story over and over, mainly it may be because of their preference for familiarity rather than novelty , in their early stages of learning process . Inherently they just stick to one character of a story and creates images of that character. Plus , as they tend to forget easily , they can hear one story again and wait all culminating moments curiously as they hear it for the first time .

Well , I think that developments of technologies has lead to a creation of the new branch, which is called digital storytelling, I mean now people can create and share their stories online , to top it off , storytellers are able to tune in , follow or subscribe to their counterparts which means that they can read stories of anyone , from anywhere on the planet and the last but not least now it is possible to create stories through the combination of visual and aural effects,such as various images, videos and special sounds .
