Dear all,
It is our pleasure to announce on behalf of the
Ghent Analysis and PDE Center and the head of our group
Prof. Dr. Michael Ruzhansky the
Summer School “Singularities in Science and Engineering”, which will be held from
22 to 31 August 2022.
This event will have a hybrid format allowing it to take place in the
Ghent university campus Sterre (Krijgslaan 281, Building S8), and also via
Zoom. The talks occur
everyday at 10:00 - 18:00 CET in
Leslokaal 3.1 (you can find the detailed information in the attached program).
Unfortunately, one of the speakers will not be able to attend the school due to some health problems. We wish him a prompt recovery. Therefore, we made some small adjustments to the program. Please, check carefully the changes that were made on the days of August 25-27 to avoid confusion.

Prof. Virginia Kiryakova from Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will give a talk about the link between fractional calculus, science and engineering. After this talk, we will have the reception day (banquet) in the beautiful garden in front of building S8, where everyone is welcome.
