When exporting products, part of the transportation costs will be compensated

Government Decree (No. 618 dated October 4, 2021) approved the Regulation on the procedure for compensating part of the transportation costs for exporting products.

According to the Regulation, in order to provide compensation:

The exporter must be registered in Uzbekistan;
the products must be locally produced;
exports are carried out to countries not bordering Uzbekistan (with the exception of Afghanistan and other cases provided for by law);
the goods must be placed in export mode (the exception is the export of products by mail in the amount of up to $ 5 thousand);
in the export contract, the transportation costs for the delivery of products must be assigned to the exporter, who must make payments.

The application and the relevant documents shall be submitted to the Export Promotion Agency directly, by mail or electronically via the Agency's website.

At the request of the exporter, the decision (conclusion) on the provision of compensation is made by the authorized body. There is no fee for reviewing the application.

The grounds for refusal to pay compensation are:

non-compliance of documents with the established requirements;
inaccurate, unreliable information or distortion of information in the documents;
termination of the subsidy allocated for the current year.

When exporting products, up to 50% of transportation costs can be reimbursed
