Car Free Day - September 22
Today, car and motorcycle drivers around the world are advised not to use their vehicles during the day. In many countries and cities, promotions and events are held that promote walking, cycling or the use of public transport.
Since 1995, this date has been held in hundreds of cities around the world at the initiative of the World Car Free Days consortium.
Note: By the Government Decree from 2021, September 22 was declared a «Car-Free Day» throughout the republic. On this day, it is recommended to voluntarily refuse to travel by car.
