The practical training of some students will be organized in foreign institutions

By the resolution of the government, the Regulation on the organization of the practical training of students studying in higher educational institutions in the field of international relations in foreign institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan was approved.

According to the Regulation, the practice will be organized according to the program developed by the university and agreed with the host organization.

Practical training is carried out once during one academic year for at least 10 days and no more than 30 days.

The practical training is carried out in 2 stages.

In the first stage, the university draws up a list of gifted 3rd-year students who have mastered foreign languages perfectly. This list, as well as the recommendations issued for these students, is submitted annually, no later than July 1, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

What should students provide during the selection process:
a national or equivalent international certificate of foreign language proficiency corresponding to the CEFR system at least level C1;
general rating (learning) indicators are required to be 80 points and higher, the absence of fails from subjects.

In the second stage, candidates will be assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in accordance with the requirements and needs of the host organization and will be interviewed by July 20.

️ During the practical training period, the student retains the right to receive a scholarship in accordance with the established procedure.

«Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad» mean diplomatic missions, consular offices or representative offices under international organizations;

«International relations» refers to the bachelor's degree courses – «Political Science», «International Affairs», «International Economics and Management» (by regions and areas of activity), «Jurisprudence» (international legal activity), «Economics of foreign countries and country studies» (by countries and regions) and «World Economy and International Economic Relations» (by regions and types of activity).
