2023-04-28 15:49:46 IELTS Speaking Tips
( Examiner Approved)

There is no right or wrong answer in the Speaking test. The examiner will assess you on how well you can express your ideas and opinions in good English.

Try to avoid repeating the words used in the examiner’s question. Use your own words to show the examiner your full ability.

Speak clearly and at a natural pace. If you speak too quickly, you may make mistakes or pronounce words incorrectly

Answer in as much detail as you can. Don’t just answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’. Try to develop your response to each question , give examples. The examiner wants to hear whether you can talk at length on a range of topics.

Use the correct verb tense when answering questions in the Speaking test. Listen carefully to the question and notice which verb tense is used. For example, if the question is ‘What kind of music do you like?’ (in the present tense) your answer should also be in the present tense (e.g. ‘I like pop music best’). You can go on to use other tenses as you extend your response, e.g. ‘I haven’t always enjoyed that kind of music...’.

#speaking

What snacks do you like to eat?

I like to have some yoghurt, nuts or fruits between meals like blueberries, mangos, oranges. I don’t eat sweets or cakes much because they’re high in calories. Too much intake of these snacks will lead to obesity easily. I don’t want to put on too much weight.

Did you often eat snacks when you were young?

Yes, when I was a kid, I had a sweet tooth. I used to eat a lot of candies, chocolate bars, cakes… . As a result, I had serious tooth decay, and I remember what a nightmare it was every time when I went to the dentist.

Do you think it is healthy for you to eat snacks?

Why not ? Most snacks people eat are high in calories in sugars, and they often contain substantial amounts of preservatives and additives. You have to be really careful to choose snacks that are healthy if you want a balanced diet.

When do you usually eat snacks now?

In most cases, I eat chips before I go to the bed because it’s said that these kind of things are good not only for digesting but also for the improvement of the mood . I also eat some dark chocolate when I don’t have time to eat meals. It can put my mind at ease and I really love its bitterness.

What is your favourite snack?

A snack I really enjoy (although not the healthiest) has to be salt chips! Honestly, anything generally sour is wonderful, as a kid I used to eat lemons right off the tree. Apart from this, I love bananas , strawberries and barni which i consume on a daily basis

When do you usually have snacks?

It depends what I’ve been eating and what my schedule is like, but my blood sugar issues can require me to eat something every two to three hours. I’m more likely to need a snack between breakfast and lunch than between lunch and dinner.

2023-04-27 09:25:36 Grammar is a vital part of any language. It's essential to allow learners to express their thoughts adequately and form and communicate precise ideas. Grammar is not just about spelling or punctuation. It is an integral part of a language because it allows them to construct sentences and write coherently
