According to a well known IELTS Expert, Pauline, studying in an IELTS Class with an instructor is highly advisable in terms of assessment and correction, nonetheless, you will only achieve a higher score if you take responsibility for your own learning. It is important to be an independent learner and learn more than what your teacher can give you in a lesson.

As a teacher, I totally agree and suggest higher-level learners read at least one article per day and watch The Economist videos or Listen to Podcasts!
