Should parents help children manage their time?

-Yes, most certainly. Parents should be actively involved in their children's lives and that includes teaching them how to manage time. Without parental supervision, most children tend to idle away their time and have little too much fun. So, parents must make sure their little ones are making wise decisions with their valuable time by creating a timetable for them and assigning them tasks for every hour of the day.

How we can avoid wasting time?

-As much as we are loath to admit it, a lot of our time is often spent inefficiently. So, how to fix it? My tried solution is drawing a plan and sticking to it. The plan doesn't have to be comprehensive as long as it explains the order in which things should be done. Self-discipline can also help. It is true that most people fall victim to procrastination simply because they fail to keep their temptations in check. Hence, one should try being more disciplined if they are to avoid wasting their precious time.


Do you think deadlines are necessary?

-Absolutely. If it weren't for deadline, nothing would really get done. To many people, deadlines are a great motivator. They give people the kind of push they can't get from other kinds of external as well as internal forces.
