Essay type:Agree/Disagree

International traveling is one of the controversial topics of the current era. Some believe that global tourism should be banned as the environment is suffering from it. While I agree that tourism is likely to cause environmental issues at certain destinations due to infrastructure and waste, it would be irrational to restrict it completely.


Holiday destinations are not easy to construct as they should be attracting more tourists. Those spots are mostly built with high-quality materials in nature, nearby an ocean or sea, making it more demanding to complete the construction. In this way, both engaging the natural land and further coming tourists to such destinations will be harming the environment by destroying the natural habitats of sea animals and land species, too. In addition, the intense use of resources such as electricity and water is also problematic. As the number of people residing in one place grow, more resource is demanded to match those people's needs, which has also an impact on the amount of waste produced in holiday areas.

However, restricting people to travel is not a sensible way to apply in this case. I believe that some regulations should be introduced to prevent travellers from damaging nature. Because travelling is not always harmful, enabling people to create new experiences, and get to know more about other cultures, which helps people develop own selves.

To conclude, keeping our planet clean and safe is an important duty, yet, this does not mean people cannot see out of their homeland. Traveling can be possible as long as local rules are followed and respected enough. 263 words Ochish/sharhlash
