I hope this message finds you well. Today, I wanted to share with you an update on my application process for college. As some of you may have noticed, I haven't been posting since January due to some setbacks during the application process.

After receiving a rejection from Swarthmore, I sought feedback from Valera and decided to make significant changes to my personal statement and activity descriptions. These revisions led to me having stronger application. I knew it would be challenging to create a strong application for all 20 colleges, so I narrowed my list down to 6:

• Upenn (r)
• Georgetown Qatar ( )
• Northwestern Qatar (w)
• CMU-Q (r)

Through the preparation and practice with Zuck Academy, I impressed the History Professor at Georgetown during my interview, and I was offered a place at the university.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to @zuckacademy and Freshman Academy. Without their guidance and support, I would have struggled during my gap year.

I am excited to embark on this next chapter of my academic journey in Middle East with my friend Samandar, NYUAD’27, and we will do our best to prepare for the challenges ahead.
